Jens approaches this work from a background in disability advocacy and law. He holds degrees in law and history, worked with Danish disability organisations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and has spent his career advancing the principle that accessibility is a cross-cutting design issue — more cost-effective, more elegant and more genuinely usable when designed in rather than retrofitted.
As a wheelchair user, Jens brings personal expertise to accessibility standards. Edlund works to a principle beyond minimum code compliance: creating built environments that are thoughtfully designed, genuinely usable and where mobility and accessibility features are resolved as considered architectural elements, not utilitarian afterthoughts.
